About the Owner

The proprietor, Robert Thorne, has many years experience in practice dealing primarily with small owner managed businesses.

Robert is a keen rugby enthusiast, although he now has to be satisifed with watching. He also enjoys wildlife photography and loves nothing better than spending hours tramping through the countryside in search of that perfect shot.

In the quieter moments he listens to a wide range of music from classical to Heavy Metal but has a preference for the new wave of talent coming through such as Mumford & Sons, Jake Bugg and Johnny Flynn.

He also likes a good read, with a penchant for the sci-fi/fantasy genre and is an avid Terry Pratchett fan. He also enjoys reading poetry and has even been known to pen his own verses when the muse takes him. This has lead more lately to dabbling in novel writing, but this is purely for pleasure.

As a dog lover he is more than happy for you to bring your best friend with you if it makes it easier for you to come to see him.
